I’m going to make this a quick post, because it’s the weekend before Thanksgiving and I know you all are busy with your plans.
I’ve gotten quite a few questions ever since I posted my last health update about some of the products I use now that I have implemented a lot of lifestyle changes to embrace whole body wellness. For those who were asking, I have really been loving Beauty Counter products for both make-up and facial care. I’ve even got Brent hooked on the men’s line. He has sensitive skin with eczema that flares up around the base of his nose (I hope he doesn’t read this and knows I’m over-sharing, lol)
If you know me, you know I didn’t always used to be this “clean queen.” For the longest time I stubbornly refused to believe that the teensy amount of “bad ingredients” in beauty products really could cause that much harm.
But what I started to realize is that a little bit of “bad” over time starts to become a lot of a bad. Our environment is full of toxins, and so whatever small little things we can do to reduce toxin exposure, such as buy organic, don’t drink from BPA water bottles, use clean beauty products, etc., will reduce our overall toxic load.
The reason this is important for women, especially women who struggle with their fertility, is because toxins mess with your hormones, and you’ve got to have balanced hormones to have good fertility. SO MANY fertility issues link back to hormone problems, endometriosis, PCOS, short cycles, spotting mid cycle, to name a few. So the quest I’ve been on to improve my fertility has really become a quest to regain my overall health. And it’s working! I’ve truly been feeling better than ever these days!

Beauty counter is having a great Black Friday sale right now if you want to check it out. I specifically use this face lotion from them, this bronzer, this AMAZING concealer, and this eye shadow palette. Everything I have tried from them I have loved, except I wasn’t crazy about this product even though it’s a best seller. I thought it gave me too much of a foundation look, and I’m a pretty simple girl, I think less is more, so it wasn’t really my jam.

Anyway, happy shopping my lovelies! Hope you all have a great Holiday week!! xx
